Recipe

  • 3lb ground beef
  • 2 cups tomato paste
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup of red wine or beer (lager)
  • 1 cup onions
  • ½ cup green bell peppers
  • ½ cup red bell peppers
  • 2 T chili powder
  • 1t paprika
  • 1 t cumin
  • ¼ cayenne pepper
  • S&P to taste
  • 1 cup water, more as simmers, adjust as needed

Instructions

  • Brown, season and drain ground beef
  • Sautee onions and peppers
  • Add back ground beef
  • Stir in tomato paste seasonings and tomatoes
  • Add wine/beer and water
  • Check seasonings, add to taste. Simmer for 1 hour.
