Last week, the Teem Lobby was transformed into Bourbon Street as Winnwood celebrated Mardi Gras in true NOLA fashion. Everyone enjoyed New Orleans niceties such as king cake and hurricanes, while Jeni M’s 3-piece band entertained the crowd! Here are some photos from the party:

At Winnwood, we look forward each year to the chance to visit Macon for the Cherry Blossom Festival. With over 300,000 Yoshino Cherry trees in full bloom, it’s truly a spectacular drive. And the best part of the trip, we get to visit our sister community John Wesley Villas for a Cherry Ice Cream Social. [...]

One of my favorite activities from last year was the Winnwood “Christmas In July” celebration. Residents and staff came together and worked with “Soldiers’ Angels” to collect gifts and write cards to our troops stationed overseas during the holiday season.
